Sister Vassa and the "Communion of the Saints"

I saw Sister Vassa (Larin) last night as she was giving a talk hosted by the Byzantine Catholic Seminary of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Pittsburgh, PA. They have an annual lecture series that alternates from Orthodox to Catholic theologians from year to year that is put on in different locations in the Pittsburgh area (often the seminary itself or their cultural center). She gave an hour-long talk followed by a Q&A session that kept people's attention as it was punctuated by her unique sense of humor. The room was packed with a medley of different faith backgrounds (Greek Catholic, Orthodox, Episcopalians, etc.). Hopefully she or the seminary will put the talk online. For more about Sister Vassa and her popular video podcast, see here.

  1. I've heard good things about the talk from a friend who was there (and meet you). I hope it is put up online. May Blessed Theodore and all the New Martyrs of the communist yoke intercede for us all.
