Don't play this video if you don't know where your Bible is

  1. Father Andrey Tkachov is famous for his direct style. We had the pleasure of hosting Father Andrey for a lecture a few weeks ago. We had over 180 people show up to hear him speak for an hour with no notes. Everyone was captivated. After he spoke, he answered questions for another 2 hours or so. I admire him greatly. He is a gifted preacher, produces a lot of video for TV and his YouTube channel, and it seems he publishes another book every two months! Thanks be to God for such priests!

    1. You seem so displeased with everything posted here, it's a wonder you keep coming back.

    2. I'm not displeased. Rather, I'm entertained.

    3. He just knee-jerks against anything Russian. Pay him no mind.

    4. Do you also believe beating your wife is all right?

    5. Mike consistently takes refuge in the classic ad hominem attack.

Father, this is such an excellent, succinct sermon. I shared it on my blog too.

    6. This does seem...noteworthy, if he really did say this. People criticize the Koran by saying it approves of wife-beating. Do you really want to defend or excuse it here?

    7. "If he really said this.

Yes, the biggest problem around here is all these Russia worshipers do not understand Russian language and their knowledge about Russia is only limited to those pieces of propaganda they are fed with.

    8. Even if someone says something that may be wrong (I don't know Russian and I'm not judging a link based on bad Google Translate), that doesn't diminish when they say something right. This sermon is right.

    9. When a priest (or any other public person) abhorrent he should be shunned by his superiors and not being promoted instead. No matter what he says on other issues.
