First Serbian Bishop of South and Central America enthroned

(SPC) - The decision of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, brought in May 2018 saying that Bishop Kiril was elected Bishop of Buenos Aires and South-Central America was read at the Lirurgy by His Grace Vicar Bishop Metodije of Dioclea.

Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro-Littoral said in his sermon that Bishop Kiril is the 16th Bishop of the Orthodox Church who was enthroned on the South American continent and the first Serbian Bishop in the new established Serbian Orthodox Diocese.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by Metropolitan Amfilohije with concelebration of some Orthodox hierarchs having dioceses in this region as well as by many priests and deacons.
