ReplyDeletei was told last wee kby an ukrainin greek catholic canon that the there is a plan between francis and brat black bart to make all of the patriarchates honorific titles, with only rome, constantinople, antioch,alexandria, and jerusalem remaining as the only authenic patriarchates. my only observation is that we are not living in 500 a.d.
ReplyDeleteSigh. At 25:00 they start blathering about the idiotic money hole the Greeks decided to dig, the "shrine". If there was a possibility of taking him seriously before, it's gone. AFR needs to rethink how they decide to do programming. The Fr. Thomas Hopko series of talks was their high water mark. This kind of puff piece isn't useful.
ReplyDeleteVery little of the interview was about the St. Nicholas Shrine. I can't believe you listened to the same interview that I did. I as a member of GOA, I was encouraged at the humility and strategic approach of his Eminence to the real issues our churches are facing. Axios. May he be worthy!
