What happened in Ukraine was a farce, because it involved ignoring the existing canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church to create a union of schismatic church bodies. The next step should have been to reunify the schismatics with Metropolitan Onuphry and the existing UOC, with any schismatic hierarchs and clergy repenting for going into schism and/or any other illegitimate acts committed while schismatic. After examination, any formerly non-canonical clergy who prove worthy can be regularized either by being ordained by a proper bishop, or by being received into the Church in the rank from which they left. If that process is followed, I have no problem with non-canonical parishes and jurisdictions coming back to the Church.
