I have nothing but good things to say about the IRS, because in all of my dealings with them, they were sweet, kind, helpful and merciful about my tax issues. Perhaps you are not meeting the right Greeks.

I guess the old saying is true: "You're mileage may vary."David B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12585542870280397211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-73042886598650075.post-53643982729006877522020-04-28T23:28:58.506-05:002020-04-28T23:28:58.506-05:00The Greek bishops have been pretty scared of the c...The Greek bishops have been pretty scared of the church for a long time. They are frightened that other Orthodox will get ahead of them and get the idea out that it is more than an ethnic club. This is why this terribly educated man, a headmaster of a school with no students, yet, is so intent on preserving the social fabric of his satellites. It isn't about belief. It's about keeping the pews full. The Greeks must run the American bishops council by sheer numbers otherwise people who live here and have no connection to the overseas crumbling byzantine monuments would run away with the parishes and act like they live and believe HERE. That is fatal to the club atmosphere. Being Episcopalian about communion is only natural to these bishops. It has nothing to do with a religion.bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14039146105983736459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-73042886598650075.post-30517090677591634072020-04-28T11:14:33.761-05:002020-04-28T11:14:33.761-05:00The Assembly of canonical orthodox bishops in NA h...The Assembly of canonical orthodox bishops in NA has been discussing the in consistencies . How can economy be extended to the heterodox? It is like the debates over baptism. Very prickly issues here.
