Christ is born! Glorify Him!

A blessed Nativity to all! My living room is now littered with wrapping paper husks, breakfast preparation is underway, children are in their rooms playing with toys, and parents are downing coffee with abandon to offset a very late night of services. Who says wrapping presents at 2 in the morning isn't advisable? Said tongue in cheek: There's no podvig like squinting at partially encased boxes while trying to do the job of three Moirai with clear tape one-handed while the other holds creased paper together.

Now I must away to a festal bowl of cheese grits and coffee. Christ is born! Glorify Him!

  1. I attended my first midnight Nativity service last night. Whatever one might think of pews in an Orthodox Church you have to admit that they are helpful to those sleepy kiddos up way past their bed times.
