Prayers for Metropolitan Iakovos of Chicago

(GOC-Chicago) - We ask for the prayers of all the faithful as our Spiritual Father, His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Chicago was taken to the hospital on Wednesday evening, May 31, 2017, suffering from an unexpected illness. This was followed by emergency surgery in the early hours of Friday, June 2. His Eminence’s condition is very serious and we ask for the prayers of all, while the Holy Metropolis of Chicago will inform the faithful as we are informed by those entrusted with his care.
