(AFR) - In Memoriam: His Eminence Archbishop Job

On Friday, December 18, 2009, His Eminence Archbishop Job of Chicago and the Midwest unexpectedly fell asleep in the Lord. Details about his death are now available in our interview with Fr. John Zdinak, Chancellor of the Midwest Diocese of the Orthodox Church in America. Fr. John spoke to His Eminence only 2 hours before he died.

    I hate to complain, but I did have a hard time with AFR getting their microphones in someone's face within hours of Archbishop Job's death. It seems a bit tacky.

    I thought about that as well, then I settled on considering this a service for those in need of more information about the event. I don't know how much, if any, coverage the local media will be providing.
