Western-rite missions expanding into UK

Yes, England (which for so many decades seemed to be a land impenetrable to Western Rite Orthodoxy) now has an active W. rite mission, thanks to the labours of Fr. Hieromonk Michael (Mansbridge-Wood) of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, and the protecting omophor of its Metropolitan, Hilarion...

  1. Thank you for mentioning something happening in our little part of the world. We in Britain don't often feature in the Orthodox blogosphere.

    The St Eanswythe group has existed for a few years now. I had some minor involvement with them in early 2007 when they were still a study society in Kent for non-Orthodox people. Now that Vladyka Mark has given his blessing, they have become a mission parish and are based in Bournemouth. The core people have worked hard to bring things to where they are. I hope that it works well.
