Differences between the Russian and Greek liturgy

From Lord, I have cried unto Thee, a link to Some differences between Greek and Russian divine services and their significance by Abp. Basil (Krivoshein) of Brussels and Belgium given at the Liturgical Conference at the St. Sergius Theological Institute, Paris, on July 2, 1975. I have it my queue to read when time allows. Note: It has been noted to me that some of the comparisons are based on tendentious or simply anecdotal experience. I have yet to read it completely, so will defer my judgement until then.

  1. This gets posted here and there every so often. It's got some inaccuracies in it, mainly based on taking a few local observations and generalizing them into supposed rules.

  2. Noted, Fr. I'll add that caveat lector.
