Way back in October I made a discernment trip to St. Vladimir's and St. Tikhon's. Last month I took a trip up to Johnstown, PA to stay a few days at Christ the Saviour Seminary. As you might expect it was quite a bit different in some ways (class size, grounds, music) and similar in others (curriculum, landscape, hospitality). I enjoyed the trip tremendously. As I did back in October, I will again ask for your prayers in finding His path for me.

ReplyDeleteHave you made such a trip to the Sheptytsky Institute in Ottawa? As a graduate of the place, I can tell you it's fantastic: first-class academics (with the best library in Eastern Christian studies on the entire continent) combined with a deep life of liturgy and prayer.

ReplyDeleteI did ponder taking classes from the institute via distance education, but haven't pondered on-site education in Canada.
