A little background: In an unprecedented move the diocese suspended their sobor ("assembly") for a year so that more effort could be made to study how to better work on missionary and evangelical efforts. It looks there will even be Internet broadcasting of the liturgical events and audio feeds for the meetings.
JOHNSTOWN, PA (ACROD) - A special web page has been created for the reconvened XXI Diocesan Council- Sobor which will take place from June 13-15, 2010 at Christ the Saviour Educational Center in Johnstown, PA.
The website contains the most up to date information regarding the Sobor. During the actual time of the Sobor, daily photo galleries will be posted, Divine services will be broadcasted live and archived audio feed of the mission, evangelization and stewardship presentations will be available soon after their delivery.
