Building a monastery the old way in Murmansk

(English Russia) - A new town church is currently being constructed in Murmansk. The monastery is being built using the old technology – without any fasteners. The craftsmen have come from all over Russia, from the places where one still remembers what an axe or saw are. The working process of these masters is shown in these pictures.

    Awesome. Sometimes I wish I could work with some of these old craftsmen... However, I see they are using a Bosch skilsaw. Old meets new someplace. :)
