Orthodox Inter-Seminary Movement meets at St. Vlad's

The OISM Spring 2011 meeting was held at St. Vladimir's Orthodox Seminary from Friday, 25 February, to Sunday, 27 February. Fr. Alexander Rentel was the guest speaker. Pictured above, seminarians from seminaries under the Ecumenical Patriarchate: Holy Cross, St. Sophia, and Christ the Saviour.

    Just so people do not misunderstand this, the photo is of seminarians from the three seminaries under the Ecumenical Patriarchate in the US: Holy Cross, Christ the Saviour, and St. Sophia's. One of the seminarians plans on having this framed and will be presenting it to the Ecumenical Patriarch. A similar photo was taken at the previous OISM meeting held in Johnstown.

    Dear Dave,

    I knew it was probably EP-jurisdiction seminarians (I recognized the Greek seminarian jewelry), I just thought the situation could be interpreted in a humorous light. Like lolcats, but lolseminarians instead. :)
