A visit to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit in Beavertown, PA

Between seminary semesters for me and on Winter break for the kids, our family went over to State College, PA to visit some friends. I made it into town just in time to attend Vespers at the nearby Chapel of the Holy Spirit in Beavertown, PA. It's currently a small, but dedicated community of believers in rural Central PA. On Sunday morning we attended Liturgy and celebrated our Basil's name day (and the celebrant's I should add) with vasilopita. The people were quite friendly, happy to see a new gaggle of children, and hosted a great potluck. So, if you're ever in the area, drop by for a visit.
