Ordination in the Armenian Church

(Holy Etchmiadzin) - Ordination of Priests on the Feast of St. Vartan the Warrior and His Companions in the Mother See - On February 27, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast of St. Vartan the Warrior and his 1036 companions in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. During the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, ordination of priests was held in the Mother Cathedral under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. By the hand of the Celebrant His Grace Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Operation Director of the Mother See, 4 deacons from the Gevorkian Theological Seminary and 6 graduates from the Accelerated Priest Course were ordained into the Holy Order of Priesthood.
