Lamentable. Shocking. Thanks to the Internet, there will be a record of this forever. If you cannot commune people properly, do not commune them. The Catholic Church has other services that might have been more reasonable for 7 million people.

ReplyDeleteI am Catholic (Latin). And yes, this is lamentable.
ReplyDeleteI think it is more cultural than anything else. I attended a baptism at an RC Filipino parish. There were ten infants being baptized at once. It was pretty chaotic. I found it all a bit disconcerting, but everyone else seemed to be caught up in the joyfulness of it all.
