The parish website Venn diagram conundrum

  1. I want to know, "Is this place legit?" I look for the bishop's name and links to diocese. I'm often frustrated that the jurisdiction is not mentioned at the top.

  2. Preach it, sister! Yes. First thing I look for. Eis polla eti who?

  3. as history of the church --- sic - churches in the usa goes -- legit is in the eyes of the beholder -- 15+ canonical jurisdictions, 30 + quasi/non canonical jurisdictions to say the least and each one claiming to to be the correct one!!!!!!!!!

my question is what is gray hair percentage??????

    that tells all

  4. The parish web-site circle fails to note the photos of largely empty churches when the Bishop visits and obese people eating in the parish hall...

  5. I *hope* the language of the website reflects liturgical language, otherwise it means exactly nothing. If a place wants a slavonic liturgy I hope (perhaps in vain) they have the integrity to publish their information in that language.

    1. Nah. It would be enough if they used Julian dates constantly, not just for the menaion.

  6. This is hilarious. And all too true!
