(STOTS) - St. Tikhon's Mission Choir is a choral group from St. Tikhon's Seminary/Monastery dedicated to God through the Church's primary evangelistic and teaching tool: Her Liturgical worship; striving to bring life, invigoration, and inspiration to the parishes which are visited throughout the year. Not only do parishioners interact and see Seminarians who are attempting to follow the calling of God (and are often outgoing and even funny), but also, this interaction puts a real human face with an institution that has been providing the Church in America with Her priests for almost 70 years. The Mission Choir also teaches, preaches, and provides animated interesting presentations about the work of the St. Tikhon's Seminary and Monastery. The Mission Choir raises funds for the work of St. Tikhon's Seminary which primarily relies on donations from the Church and Her faithful to continue its work for the Church in America. The Choir is available throughout the year (except summer, with some exceptions) for parish visitations throughout the Continental United States.Spring schedule available here.
If you or your parish are interested in hosting the Mission Choir for a Liturgy or an event, please contact the Dean, Fr. Michael Dahulich at the Seminary for more information. (570-937-4411) (Booking is done a couple months in advance.) Last year, the Mission Choir visited 18 parishes and raised almost $70,000 for the work of St. Tikhon's Seminary. Please help us in this important task while enriching and connecting your parish with one of the hearts of the Church in America: St. Tikhon's Monastery and Seminary.
