Mukachevan archbishop visited shrine of St. John of Shanghai

(Mukachevo Eparchy) - From the 28^th September to the 10^th October with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Archbishop Theodore of Mukachevo and Uzhgorod visited the shrine of San Francisco, California.

Immediately after arriving in the U.S. in the majestic Cathedral of San Francisco, Bishop Theodore celebrated the Divine Liturgy with the parish clergy. After which the met with parishioners and diaspora from Ukraine.

In warm communication Bishop shared the last light of the events in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The next day the Archpastor served prayer with Akathist one of the most venerated saints-Bishop of Saint John, Archbishop of Shanghai and San Francisco, incorruptible relics which reposes in the cathedral.

On the third day in America, Bishop Theodore took part in a mass meeting with the manager of San Francisco and Western American Diocese Archbishop Cyril and his vicar bishop Theodosius.

In memory of visiting the Diocese Bishop Kirill gave Archbishop Theodore an Icon of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco with his relics particles.
