Bp. Daniel of Pamphilon (UOC-USA) heart surgery this week


Heavenly Father, Creator and Comforter, I ask You, Lord, to guide the minds and hands of those who will operate on him so that he may be restored to health and well-being. Help me, Lord, to pray with all my heart and allow the burden of concern and anxiety felt by all his flock to be lifted up with the knowledge that You are with us now and always. Amen.

    I know His Eminence. He is a hands on bishop. I will be praying for him.

    Thanks for posting this. Vladika Daniel is my bishop and in my 20 years and 7 bishops he is the most genuine "father" of a parish I have experienced (and this includes the famed Bishop Dimitri of the South OCA).

    I have just been informed by a reliable source Vladika is undergoing "tests" and not actual surgery...

    I have also been informed that he is not currently having surgery. But our prayers are with him and his excellent witness to the Orthodox Faith.
