Dear Orthodox Twitter,— The Orthodox World (@WorldOrthodox) November 8, 2019
Did you see the 12+ round tweet contest between @FrJohnWhiteford and @atpapanik on sex, sodomy, and other Church stuff?
Read it tell us who you think had the better / more persuasive arguments and why (but be nice in your comments please).

The fact that these guys posted that just shows they don't know how twitter works....
ReplyDeleteIt also seems to show that they may not know how Orthodoxy works, either. In the end, these exchanges seem to boil down to one person being an Orthodox Christian and the other playing one at Fordham.

ReplyDeleteNo. I don't follow the "micro blogs" such as twitter, Facebook, and the like because as near as I can tell they are just blogs reduced/limited to soundbites and corporate advertising/control. When I click on the two links above, just a bunch of random subjects and one sentence commentary come up - I could see no "contest" between Fr. John and Aristotle at all.
Anyone to the discussion that works?
I'm glad someone is opposing the fordham group. We certainly can't expect any bishops to do it. They're terribly busy doing selfies and visiting each other. Standing still with a pool stick can really take it out of a guy.
