The “Watering” Mother of God

Beneath thy mercy,
we take refuge, O Virgin Theotokos:
disdain not our supplications in our distress,
but deliver us from perils,
O only pure and blessed one.

      I'm interested too. Interesting to see an icon with text in modern Ukrainian (not Slavonic). I couldn't find any information on it.

    I don't have a problem with the Ukrainian language or any other modern language. I DO have a problem with nationalism that trumps the traditions of the church.
