(St. Barbara's) - Remember to mark your calendars for Fr. Thomas Hopko’s visit, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 4th through the 6th. For those who may be unaware, Fr. Thomas is Dean Emeritus of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Seminary in New York. While at the Seminary he was Professor of Dogmatic Theology and is the author of numerous books and scholarly articles. He is also one of the most dynamic, highly sought after Orthodox speakers in America. During his stay Fr. Hopko will deliver three special presentations. His presence will be an inspiration. Invite your friends and relatives!

On Friday night, December 4 (St. Barbara Feast) at 7 pm, Fr. Thomas will speak to us about, “The Work of God’s People.” On Saturday, December 5, starting at 10 am, he will speak for most of the day on, “The Real Jesus.” And then on Sunday afternoon (tentatively at 4 pm) on the campus of Texas Christian University Fr. Hopko will speak in Carr Chapel on the topic: “Christ in Eastern Christian Spirituality.” After each talk questions from attendees will be addressed. Refreshments will also be served.
