Websites hacked

Several websites of both Eastern and Oriental Orthodox affiliation were hacked today by a man claiming to be from Tunisia who stated his efforts were in support of "the religion of Allah and Islam." Many websites, such as orthodox.net and the web presence of the Syrian Orthodox Patriarchate, were the target of website defacement and denial of service (DoS) attacks. Most, if not all, of the websites compromised have returned to pre-attack states, though it is not clear if all sites have resolved the vulnerabilities that let the attacker in.
